Everything is Designed
About

My name is Chris Hellevik and I am an Industrial Designer from Greensboro, NC. I was formally trained at Appalachian State University and have completed my degree in Industrial Design. Most recently I worked at WestRock Company, part of the Permanent Displays Division as an Engineering Technician with the prospect of becoming a Design Engineer. Unfortunately due to the downturn in business due to COVID-19 my position was eliminated. During my short tenure at WestRock, I exclusively utilized SolidWorks and Illustrator to complete a number of successful projects for customers. Additionally, I have experience in Adobe Creative Suites, including Photoshop, and InDesign. I also have an Associate Certification of Mechanical Design for Solidworks. I have hands-on experience in wood and metal shops and I am hoping to use my experience to find a new opportunity in the POP(Point of Purchase) Market, but am still open to opportunities in Product Design and Furniture Design. Below are a sampling of my collegiate projects that showcase my skill set in which I have been involved as both a sole creator or as part of a design team.
